Winemaker, Julie Lumgair, selected this rare three clone, 2 barrel blend to showcase our top barrel of the hard-to-find 828 clone, traditionally prized for the bright acidity and intense  rose aromatics.  The second barrel is a powerful clonal marriage of the black cherry and structured vanilla cola found in 667, layered with rich red fruit and exotic spices of 459,  Savor this elegant blend of distinct clones and site, and our passion for farming and hand-crafted winemaking.     44 cases produced

2008 Syrah - Russian River Valley - $35     CLUB ONLY   SOLD OUT

Saturated ruby red color leads into intense, plush fragrances and flavors of black raspberries, red berries and licorice with hints of sweet toasted vanilla mocha, roses and violets.  Our mountain summit vineyard is known for full-bodied wines of substances and smooth structure.  This is an age-worthy, unfiltered, unfined wine exhibiting a great site, and our passion for careful farming and artisan winemaking.        22 cases produced

2009 Late Harvest Muscat Canelli- Russian River Valley - $25    

This is our first gemstone barrel of Late Harvest Muscat Canelli. 2009 presented perfect conditions for longer hang time to develop richly flavored, botrytised grapes.  To concentrate its bright, lush flavors and powerful fragrances, we pressed directly to a neutral barrel, fermented in a long, cool stuyle with gently stirring “sur lie” for months as ripe well-rounded flavors evolved.  It showcases honeysuckle and orange blossoms, juicy nectarine and stone fruit preserves, mingles with a hint of spice and sweet hay.  Vivid acidity gives a clean, long finish to complement cheeses, foi gras and sweets.  It truly reflects its site, a foggy, cobblestone vineyard block, and shows our passion for the art of growing fine wines.    45 cases produced

2010 Pinot Gris – Russian River Valley - $25

Our vineyard’s Pinot Gris is quite different from commercial style Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio, with richer color, aromatics and flavors. The grape skins are naturally reddish- gray, yielding a uniquely beautiful and flavorful wine due to our fermenting the wine on its colorful skins in the historic tradition of northern France. The result is a distinct peach-like hue with rich texture, good tannic structure and complex layers of fruit-forward flavor. It was hand-harvested, then made totally sur-lie in stainless steel at low temperatures with no malolactic fermentation. It has bright acid and lush aromatics with layered flavors of honeysuckle, apricot and white peach, mingled with citrus and a long, refreshing close.    95 cases produced    Gold Medal Winner - 2011 Long Beach Grand Cru Wine Competition

2010 Unoaked Chardonnay – Russian River Valley - $29

Our Unoaked Chardonnay is made sur-lie with multiple yeasts in stainless steel at low temperatures with no malolactic fermentation. This layering, plus the natural grape acids highly concentrate the wine’s bright, lush flavors of fragrant meyer lemon, ripe citrus, stone fruits, pineapple and white peach finished with a long, clean balance of fruit and minerals. It truly shows the bold intensity of flavors from the unusually cold 2010 vintage.    190 cases produced

2010 Unoaked Chardonnay - Muscat 809 Clone – Russian River Valley - $29

Our Chardonnay covers a series of cool microclimate vineyards, each planted with unique historic vine cuttings called “clones.” Each is chosen to show the optimal mix of site, vine and desired winemaking style. Chardonnay Dijon Clone 809, known as the Muscat Clone, was originally isolated in Burgundy. It is prized in cooler climates for intense floral and tropical aromatics with rich mouth feel which strongly resemble the Muscat grape varietal. This is a rare and delightful single-clone Chardonnay. Just like our flagship Unoaked Chardonnay, this is also made totally sur-lie in stainless steel at low temperatures with no malolactic fermentation. It showcases the powerful aromatic beauty and lush flavor of the Muscat Clone, with a lengthy, crisp and balanced finish.    65 cases produced

2010 Sauvignon Blanc - Russian River Valley - $29

To maximize powerful fruit-forward aromatics and flavors at every step, we hand-harvested the grapes, then fermented in stainless steel at low temperatures with no malolactic fermentation. The extended, cool sur-lie winemaking style enhanced and preserved the marriage of bright acids and incredibly lush character. The wine displays saturated tropical aromatics with layers of candied pineapple, crisp juicy citrus and a long, refreshing close.   150 cases produced

2010 Rosato – Rosé of Sangiovese - Chalk Hill - $25

A pink jewel – crisp & refreshing, but NOT SWEET! Our Rosato is made in the tradition on European rosés, being highly aromatic, crisply acidic and fruit driven, yet dry. It’s 100% crush pad fresh Sangiovese juice especially fermented without its red grape skins, stirred gently on its lees with no malolactic  fermentation. The result is mouth-watering complex, full bodied Rosé, loaded with flavors of strawberry and raspberry, and fragrant aromas of raspberry watermelon and hints of orange blossom.  90 Cases Produced    

2009 Late Harvest Zinfandel – Russian River Valley - $25

The 2009 harvest conditions provided our first chance since 2003 to create a special style of late harvest from our top old clone mountain Zinfandel blocks. The grapes were given extra weeks on the vine to achieve intense character and higher sugar levels, then carefully hand-harvested and vinified to preserve the delicate fruit. The luscious is deep garnet color wine, with silky texture and complex fruit layers of dried cherry and blackberry fruit cobbler, jammy black raspberry, and sweet mission fig with notes of licorice and vanilla spiced caramel. It may remind you of a vintage ruby, but the flavor and finish are cleaner and less cloying on the palate, with less alcohol and sugar.   190 cases produced

2007 Reserve Chardonnay - Russian River Valley - $35

Barrel fermented and aged for over 16 months, sur-lie, this wine is full bodied, lush and fragrant with a long lasting, silky finish.  An excellent balance between French oak influences and bright acidity, this chardonnay boasts wonderful minerality combined with aromatic honeysuckle and hints of hazelnuts.  Stone fruit flavors including white peach and notes of sweet vanilla round out the flavor of this wine and carry into a lasting finish.  225 cases produced.

2010 Rosato – Rosé of Sangiovese - Chalk Hill - $25

A pink jewel – crisp & refreshing, but NOT SWEET! Our Rosato is made in the tradition on European rosés, being highly aromatic, crisply acidic and fruit driven, yet dry. It’s 100% crush pad fresh Sangiovese juice especially fermented without its red grape skins, stirred gently on its lees with no malolactic  fermentation. The result is mouth-watering complex, full bodied Rosé, loaded with flavors of strawberry and raspberry, and fragrant aromas of raspberry watermelon and hints of orange blossom.  90 cases produced.           

2009 Vin Gris - Rosé of Pinot Noir - Russian River Valley - $19

The return of a wine club favorite. Handcrafted in the tradition of European rosés, this wine is intensely aromatic, fruit forward, yet dry. Loaded with flavors of fresh strawberry jam and ripe raspberries, the long clean finish is reminiscent of spiced cherry – often indicative of this varietal. 100% crush-pad fresh Pinot Noir juice, this rosé was especially fermented without its red grape skins. 110 cases produced.

 2007 2-Dijon Clone Pinot Noir - Russian River Valley $35  AVAILABLE IN BOX SET ONLY

A Pinot that holds up to grilled steak!  A rare blend of clones 459 and 114 created an unconventional Pinot Noir. While not typical of our house style, this is a powerhouse wine that pushes the envelope of intensity and fullness. Combining two clones with strong characteristics, coupled with yeast known for extraction, we pulled as much out of the grapes as possible – so much that it’s borderline over the top!   72 cases produced.

2007 3-Dijon Clone Pinot Noir - Russian River Valley $35

Magnums  $85

Clones 777, 667, and 115 produce a classic Russian River Pinot Noir. Well balanced and elegant with exemplary structure. This wine is not only beautiful now, but sure to age gracefully. Its seductive deep ruby hue is only enhanced by potent aromatics of black cherry, cola, fresh cut roses, spice and vanilla.   125 cases produced.

2007 5-Dijon Clone Pinot Noir - Russian River Valley $35

Plush texture and deep garnet color, this wine features robust and fragrant aromatics followed by an intense, luscious mouth-feel. Nuances of raspberry jam, ripe strawberries, fresh black cherries and vanilla cream with hints of baking spices and sassafras can be found. It wraps up with a long, balanced finish.    135 cases produced.

2009 Reserve Zinfandel - Russian River Valley $29

We patiently blended this Zin from two special mountain vineyard blocks in stages for 21 months. The result is It shows intense flavors from the long, cool 2009 harvest, bursting with luscious, deep aromatics and flavors of bright cherry, blueberry and juicy blackberry smoothly layered with black and white pepper notes. It showcases complex barrel spices and silky smooth cocoa notes from extended barrel aging. The finish is long, balanced for acid displaying loads of fruit with hints of vanilla cocoa.   145 cases produced.

2006 Reserve Zinfandel - Russian River Valley $29

Our two mountain vineyard blocks provide a Zin teeming with luscious fruits.   Bright cherry, ripe blueberry, and juicy blackberry mingle with crushed black pepper, baking spices, and vanilla. This full throttle palate is big, rich and round with a virtuoso finish.   90 cases produced.

2008 Malbec Mountainside Block 35 - Chalk Hill $35

Decadence returns for another vintage!  Deep plum black hue with sleek layers of creamy red and blueberries laced with spiced blackberry and hints of vanilla mocha.  This plush texture and bright fruit ends with a long, balanced finish.  Our signature 100% pure Malbec  comes from vineyard block 35c, and shows rich concentration of its volcanic  mountain soils and steep slope.   225 cases produced.

Time to grill!  Reflecting our vineyard’s rare volcanic mountain soil, this Big Mountain Cabernet is a fusion of ripe black cherry, spiced vanilla, cola and currants. Laced with traces of cocoa, sweet cedar and tobacco, this wine is aged in French oak barrels for 21 months. 180 cases produced.

2008 Super Tuscan - Chalk Hill $45 

The King!  This blend is a core of ripe Sangiovese, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, and touched with just a 3% kiss of Merlot and Syrah to polish its crown.  It's a richly layered, complex blend that showcases the beauty of each grape varietal in very concentrated, velvety layers.  Dried bing cherry, hints of blackberry, cedar and red licorice blend with touches of cassis, leather, minerals and vanilla spices.  Structured tannins and bright acidity complete the wine so it's perfect with grilled meats and Italian foods.  A rare gem that reflects its powerful mountain vineyard sites, and sells out each year!  Patiently aged in the finest 100% oak barrels.  Will age like a dream!    230 cases produced.

This blend of 4 Dijon Clones (777, 667, 115, 459) is rich, full flavored, and matured in French oak. We topped off the initial blend with our best barrels of 459 and 115 clones to dial up the wine’s fruit driven characteristics, spice, and body. Jumping from the glass is a plethora of delicate spices, ripe cherries and wild strawberries. The result is a persistent eloquent finish. 162 cases produced.

Limited Edition - 224 Sets

Dijon Clone 777 - Often used as a stand-alone clone, this particular wine lends itself well to blending acting as a wonderful canvas on which to add layers of other flavors. 777 exhibits the bright cherry and strawberry notes typically associated with Russian River Pinot Noir. The mid pallet has some nice spice notes. 1 barrel - 22 cases

Dijon Clone 114 - Traditionally used in blends; this clone is rarely (if ever) bottled on its own. Has a tendency to accentuate bright red fruits. Often used to show off aromatics, has an ethereal quality to its structure, teasing the pallet with an almost fog-like quality. You know it is there, but difficult to touch and feel. This clone rounds out the pallet nicely in blends. 1 barrel - 22 cases

Dijon Clone 459 - Not as common in Russian River blends, a real gem. Can stand alone and is very popular with our wine club members, this clone has lots of spice reminding one of a Persian market. Wonderful cedar notes hit the mid-pallet with a nice finish. In blends, a little can go a long way. 1 barrel - 22 cases

2007 Pinot Gris Russian River Valley $25 -- SOLD OUT

Stainless steel fermented on its lees at low temperatures, our unoaked Pinot Gris sees no malolactic fermentation. A complex floral bouquet forecasts a silky palate of honeyed apricot, white peach and citrus nuances. Its balanced acidity imparts a clean, prolonged finish – perfect for food pairing. This wine truly reflects its site, a foggy, cobblestone vineyard block and shows our passion for grape growing and authentic artisan winemaking.  Available to Club only.  45 Cases produced. 

2008 Pinot Gris Russian River Valley $25 -- SOLD OUT

This wine mimics its preceding vintage with slightly lower alcohol and acidity than 2007 gave us.  The lees were gently stirred during its aging process, which took place in stainless steel.  This wine is very concentrated, bright and floral with lush flavors of apricot, white peach, citrus and subtle minerality.  Available to Club only.  130 cases produced - only 14 cases left!

2009 Unoaked Chardonnay - Russian River Valley - $29  SOLD OUT

Intensely fresh, crisp, bright & fruity! Meyer lemon, white peach, and ripe tropical fruit showcase the bold flavors that distinguish the unusually cool 2009 vintage. Night-harvested, the layering of multiple yeast strains, coupled with the “sur-lie” method in stainless steel, concentrates the wine’s pure personality. This exquisite balance of fruit and mineral lingers long after the last sip.    104 cases produced.
