Hobie Wedler, blind since birth and a PhD candidate in organic chemistry at UC Davis will be leading 6 Wine Sensory Seminars at 11:30 am and at 2 pm, Saturday and Sunday 3-2 and 3-3, and again on Sunday 3-10. In this revealing and inspirational seminar, guests are blindfolded, rendering them completely without sight. After being led to a comfortable, seated tasting area, guests are guided by Hoby as they experience how flavors and aromas in wine are accentuated when experienced in complete darkness, how wine is an art akin to painting, music and theater and how one need not see to enjoy life thoroughly.  By removing the sense of sight with a blindfold, participants will experience wine to a depth that will surely be unforgettable!
